  Summer Art Studios - The arts teach children and teens vital skills that nurture intellectual and creative development and prepare them for the 21st century. Perhaps now more than ever - as San Antonio becomes increasingly diverse, the world more interconnected, and the workplace more oriented around technology and creativity - arts education is a key to ensuring student success in school, work, and life. A leader in arts education for five decades, Southwest School of Art offers multiple avenues for access to the visual arts for young artists across San Antonio. Southwest School of Art's Summer Art Studios is the most comprehensive and largest summer arts experience for students in San Antonio, offering nine weeks of classes for students - Kids Studio, ages 5 - 14; and Teens Studio, ages 14 - 18. Our artist-teachers focus on fundamentals such as drawing and painting, as well as experimental design and classes that explore world cultures. SSA is unique in offering media such as clay, printmaking, photography, and 3-D design.   American Dance Training Camp aka ADTC is the ULTIMATE overnight dance camp for girls 8-17 in the Beautiful Hill Country - Session 1: July 7 - 13, 2024 Session 2: July 14 - 20, 2024

     Whether you're brand new to dance or a seasoned competitor, we want you to have fun and grow as a dancer and a person. We've successfully empowered thousands of girls around the world for 17 years with ADTC dance camps. We hope you'll join us for dance, adventure, new friends & fun this summer. At our TX dance camp, you'll take 4 - 5 dance classes per-day, Mon through Fri. Classes are taught by our professional choreographers. The core dance disciplines you'll take are contemporary, hip hop and jazz (styles vary and may include Bwy or lyrical). Elective dance classes include ballet, tap & world dance. At ADTC "ULTIMATE Hill Country" in Texas, campers and staff live together in a traditional residence hall. Each room houses two campers who share a bathroom in the hallway. Rooms & hallway blocks are organized by age and ADTC's staff is housed in rooms on each floor, providing campers with 24-hour supervision & support.   The mission of the EmilyAnn is to reinvest in the dignity of the human spirit through the performing arts, the beauty of nature and community fellowship. To achieve this goal, we have a full schedule of festivals, theatre productions, camps and classes. Also, our 12 acres of park-like grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk. Our festivals include Trail of Lights each December and the Butterfly Festival each April. Theatre productions are all family-friendly and run during various months. We also offer camps and classes for adults and children throughout the year.
